Tim McMahon has arranged for use of the Keene Rec Center, on Washington Street, to begin fly tying classes. We'll start on Tuesday, February 19 and go through March and possibly the first 2 weeks in April. We'll start at 6:30 and go until 8:30 pm each night.
The Fly Tying classes will start teaching and tying basic patterns for the first two weeks. The remaining class time will be determined by the participants and their choices. This could mean tying zonkers, or more dry fly patterns or classic New England streamers for example. The chapter will supply materials and have tools available for class use. The fee is $50 and the classes will run from Feb 19 to March 26 with the possibility of 2 more sessions in April. The classes will be at the Keene Rec Center on Washington Street.
